Paul Golini

Paul brings over 35 years of sales and marketing, building and development, and health and wellness experience. He has also sat on, and chaired, several Board of  Directors and governance positions across various fields, predominantly associated with the development industry. 

Currently he is Board Chairperson of two innovation technology companies, RIOS (industry led data and workflow platform which improves the efficiency for government, industry, and consumers in the building and development process) as well as R-Hauz (prefabricated property/building innovation company). He has also served as Chair of the Board for Tarion Corporation, the Provincial Regulatory and Warranty Program. He recently completed a 6 year mandate on the Toronto Region Board of Trade, Board of Directors and served as Chair of the Governance and Human Resource Committee.

Former Executive Vice President and co-founder of Empire Communities, one of North America’s largest and most trusted integrated master-planned community homebuilders. Empire Communities has built more than 17,000 new homes and condominiums in Toronto, throughout Southern Ontario, and in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Atlanta. He has managed a portfolio, which includes neighbourhoods of homes and skyscrapers, with over 22,000 homesites in the development pipeline.

Paul served as a member of the Organizing Committee for the Archetype Sustainable House Project at the Kortright Centre (Living City Campus). As of January 1, 2011, he began a two-year term as Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) Chairman of the Board. Co-Chair of their Green Committee, he has participated as a member of the Steering Committee with the CaGBC (Canada GreenBuilding Council) LEED Canada for Homes project and is an active member of EnerQuality’s Builders Advisory Board.

Paul has a Bachelor of Commerce and Economic Specialist Degree from the University of Toronto and is deeply involved with the Italian business community. He as served as Chair of the Board of Directors of the ICFF (Italian Contemporary Film Festival) for over 10 years, promoting multiculturism and diversity through the film industry in Canada and Italy.
